Introduction

Foreign Language Preparatory Classes aim to provide students, who attend programs prescribing foreign language education at Trakya University, with competence to understand what they listen and read, comprehend texts and translate them into Turkish, express themselves in both oral and written forms, and effectively use the language they learn in professional, cultural and social life. The Preparatory Classes education is carried out in accordance with European Language Framework Program, and A1, A2, B1, B2 level coursebooks are used as prescribed in this program.

At the beginning of each Academic Year and exemption and placement exam is given to the preparatory class students and they are placed in A1, A2, B1 and B2 classes according to their language levels.
